Filter Cleaning Systems

Dust retention and maintaining a clean filter for efficient operation are crucial phases in cleaning tasks, especially when the dust is fine and the filter is at risk of clogging quickly. In conventional systems, the only solution is frequent filter washing, which translates to lost operating time. Nilfisk-Advance offers two excellent filter cleaning systems that allow maintaining high suction power in difficult fine dust conditions while extending the filter’s good operation time. These systems minimize downtime and save money simultaneously.

By blocking the air intake and pressing the cleaning button, air circulates through the filter in the reverse direction, creating a suction force that cleans the filter surface from the inside out, leaving it ready for further operation.

This advanced technology allows automatic filter cleaning while the vacuum continues to operate efficiently. The XtremeClean technology is based on the X-flap that controls the airflow through the filter. The filter is divided into two halves – one remains in operation while the other is cleaned by a reverse airflow controlled by the X-flap.
